Google’s Free 411 Service now offering maps

Do yourself a favor and grab your mobile and add 1(800) GOOG-411 to your phonebook.

That number is for Google’s free service that provides business numbers based on company name or service, like “pizza”. They’ll also connect you to the number for no charge.

If giving you the number and connecting isn’t enough, they now offer the ability to have a link to map sent directly to your phone via SMS. All you have to do is tell the system to “Map it!”

Awesome!

That was seven years ago. But the thought of making Lansun + Scott a reality had always been with me. It was during a conversation, over a few beers with Alex, that I realized I needed to at least try and give the whole entrepreneurial thing a real shot or I should just go ahead and stop renewing the domain every year.

I decided to give it a go.
